Alexandra holds a BA (Hons) in South Asian Religions and an MSc in Poverty and Development. Since 2010, she has worked across India, Nepal, Sri Lanka and her native UK doing a variety of consultancy, communications, editing and humanitarian work.
In 2011 she edited a book called ‘Women in Patriarchy‘ and has written fact and fiction for media platforms including The Guardian, the New Indian Express, The Huffington Post (India), The Kathmandu Post, The F Word, Kafila and the Sunday Leader. Currently, Alexandra divides her time between working full-time as a management consultant and studying part-time for a PhD on the representation of women in Hindi cinema. That elusive first book is still in the works, too.
